![]() Ingot Editor & Collectables script revised Ingot Editor replaced with All Data Editor The only part of grounded that could even be considered to stay is the solo revive function, and even that needs some tuning.Version : v1.2 v2 (Compatible with v1.9) If people are so afraid to lose their hunter that they will not play the game, then this game, (and in my opinion this whole genre of game) is not for them. The hunter is only a midtier piece of gear. All that rambling to say Yes, the game mechanics are changing, but also yes we can go back from death cheat. This does not even touch on how one sided the 4 point pledge bonuses are. And of those two you might not even see the revive that Lunar needs. Disregarding how valuable one thinks a hunter is Grounded and Lunar are the two that interact with absolute parts of the game. The problem is that Lunar and Infernal are way too conditional to see any play versus Grounded's guarantee of value. ![]() I think that every single pact is supposed to have a solid impact on how people play the game. First by encouraging weapon variety with the questlines, and now with the event. Recently it seems that the devs are really trying to shake up gameplay. and if you are comfortable with your money swap out the dumb crossbow or machette they might have included on that free hunter for something you prefer lol. Me and my buddy used to kind of play with gear fear and now i couldnt care less we go for every encounter we die plenty we win plenty but the last thing either of us even thinks about now is what we will or have lost in the process.Įdit: just to add to that when i do free hunter runs i still like to bring in my preferred consumables and tools but at least save money on the weapons. mostly because i feel like this helps get over any sort of gear fear you might have. I feel like you guys need to do a lot more free hunter runs so you get used to the kill people with your shitty weapons and upgrade with the better stuff they dropped loop rather than going in with a full loadout bought by yourselves. There is hardly anything important that you lose if you die the way the game normally plays. I'll be over here enjoying a more even playing field, and we'll both enjoy the increased influx of players. You think that keeping Death cheat would remove the risk and challenge of Hunt. I stopped playing for years due to harsh matchmaking back in the day, coupled with the fact I just didn't get to experience what it's like to be at the same power level as everyone else. The other thing is, while the game has had a growth in playerbase for a while, the incredibly punishing nature of the game does massively restrict it's growth. I can learn now, because I won't have those genuine advantages taken away. Now that I can make genuine progress to acquire them, I'm having so much more fun. Speaking as a relative newbie, until now, I've never gotten to experience being on that even footing with everyone. Like lets be real man, Doctor/ Packmule/ Lightfoot/ Greyhound/ Determination/ etc give a strong, genuine advantage in a match. You know why that's gatekeeping? Because people who have spent the time and anguish getting reasonable at the game (which is a big investment in opinion) have a genuine advantage against new/ casual/ below average players without Death Cheat. Constantly playing at a disadvantage because we kept dying and couldn't get access to the fundamentally good perks that give genuine advantage to every player. "We had to persevere through a long, incredibly difficult, punishing journey to get alright at the game. Look, I'm not going to lie, I've been coming across this opinion a tonne when searching up this topic, and I have to say, it just smacks of gatekeeping. /r/HuntLFG - find players to squad up with.Rule 10: No Politics/Religious Discussions.Rule 8: Refrain from accusing posts or submissions for violating our community rules. ![]()
